Issey Miyake

Yesterday we had the chance to join a big symposium in Amsterdam. It was called: Colour in time. It was about the big and undeniable role of colour in worldwide design. Several guests spoke at the symposium yesterday: Dutch graphic designer Irma Boom, artist David batchelor, fashion designer Dai Fujiwara and gorgeous woman Lidewij Edelkoort. Lidewij wasnt there herself, but some one other spoke out her wise words.

Personally I was touched by the great inspirational way Dai Fujiware spoke to us. He's a designer for the Japanese brand Issey Miyake. In his criplled but honest english he told us how important colour is in his design processes. He calls it color hunting. It's a true inspiring way to explore the real meaning of colour and he showed us how colour is undeniable related to the way fashion comes accross.

This needs no further explanation. See it for yourself. It's pure creativity. It's inspirational and real. Let me know what you think :)
